We left busy London behind and travelled to Brighton for our most recent shoot with one mission in mind: a sunny beach shoot in Brighton. All week, the forecast had promised sunshine, and naturally, the one day we chose to shoot, we were greeted with thick grey clouds and the classic British summer breeze. Nevertheless, we embraced the British weather and made the most of it. And honestly? It turned out way better than anticipated.
After our long three-hour drive down to Brighton, we were in desperate need of a refreshment. The girls spotted a cute little pink bar that perfectly matched our vibe. It turned out to be the ideal spot to show off our amazing Cornfield set.
You can’t come to Brighton and not stop for fish and chips on the beach. We perched ourselves on the pebbles for lunch, where we got attacked by pigeons - a classic British seaside moment.
We did what British people do best and braved the cold English Channel. The water was (predictably) freezing, but we were too busy laughing to care. Our White Poppy Blouse proved to be the perfect beach cover-up, ideal to throw on between dips.
After braving the Brighton sea, it was time for something sweet, because no beach day is complete without it. We headed straight for the cutest little ice cream stand and got an ice cream and flake each. The girls looked so cute in their matching Marnie dress, perfectly fitting the beach vibe.
It’s not a girls’ trip unless you end the day with a cute little photo booth session and get some adorable pictures together! Brighton, you were so much fun!
