Summer in Soho: Minka Dink London's Greek Street Pop-Up
On 22nd June, we kicked off our biggest pop-up yet on Greek Street in the heart of Soho, London.
In the middle of a London heatwave we got to work and transformed the space into the ultimate Minka girl destination. We covered the walls in our signature pink, brought back our much loved Minka Cafe, and introduced a brand new addition of the Minka Sweet Shop.
Before officially opening our doors, we invited 50 of our favourite Minka girls for an exclusive first look at the pop-up. The evening involved a talk from Minnie, alongside special guest Styled by Flick, who shared her top styling tips. It was the perfect opportunity to preview our new Summer Collection, explore the space before anyone else, and connect with our amazing community.
The following day, we officially opened our doors to the public. The store was buzzing from the moment the doors opened, welcoming both returning customers and so many new faces discovering our brand for the first time.
Of course, we couldn't let the occasion pass without celebrating with our team, family, friends and creative community. We toasted the launch with Minka inspired cocktails, tucked into SushiDog, and ended the evening with a giant pink chocolate fountain (because it wouldn't be a Minka party without one).
Opening weekend was so much fun. Customers were treated to free coffee, matcha and ice cream with their purchases (a must during London's hottest weekend), and the iconic pink Minka taxi made its return, driving our customers around the city to their next destination in style. It was the perfect weekend to kick start the next three weeks!
Throughout the pop-up we hosted incredible community events, including the return of our much loved Sip & Shop evenings, a Run Club collab with Sunnie Runners, and an inspiring Female Founders panel hosted by our founder, Minnie, alongside Brontë King (Gals Who) and Milly Goldsmith (SULT).
Connecting with our customers is one of our favourite parts of every pop-up. We loved meeting so many new Minka girls, catching up with familiar faces, and seeing so many of your favourite pieces fly off the rails.
Some of our best-selling styles included the Posie Pyjamas, the Maddie Dresses and the Clara set, all the must-haves to the perfect summer wardrobe.
